In 2008 two college roommates grew tired of dressing like everybody else on their campus. In an effort to set themselves apart from the trends, they started to print t-shirts for themselves. Through printing t-shirts and getting a solid response from their peers on campus, Rich Ghetto Kids began. Creator/Designer Shelton Hawkins (Hawk) wanted to create something that was limited, marketable, and consisted of all the elements that inspired him. Inspired by his everyday life and the eras of the late 80's and early 90's, he wanted to focus on bold graphics in an effort to construct a fresh line. To date, Rich Ghetto Kids has been apart of the Privage Stock Trade Show, H-Town Sneaker Summit, and Magic. At Rich Ghetto Kids our motto is: Snatchin’ Bags, Snatchin’ Knowledge, and to live the RGK lifestyle. At Rich Ghetto Kids we never let anybody turn our dreams into nightmares!

This Season
This season continues the Rich Ghetto Kids trend of blending the elements of street stories, the hustle, the grind, pop culture, and higher learning into our designs. All these elements represent the RGK lifestyle.
